The next DE will be held the week end of Aug 7-10

I plan on attending, and this will be my 1st DE ever, so I am very excited. I am going to try to round up some MA guys to get down there as well.
I know most people went out of White Plains or Hartford, but what airline did people find the most reasonable priced, and easiest to get in & out?

Who else is going?

AirTran from White Plains was $266 if you book more than 2 weeks in advance. Flight was OK, on time and efficient. Don't expect onboard service much other than free soda/water etc.

To the best of my knowledge only Delta and AirTran necessarily fly directly to Atlanta because it's their hub. Some others may fly directly but you may not have control over that when booking on priceline or orbitz etc.

I would do it again if that answers your question.

Delta and Airtran flights out of White Plains, NY are $229. Delta has a 3pm flight to atlanta on thursday, and several coming back after 12. (I got the 12pm flight coming back, enough time for last free breakfast at Ruth Krys' and some bagels with Brian). I think Airtran has a 5pm flight back on Sunday.

I also booked a room, 2 doubles and pull out couch if anyone wants to share. I'll take the couch b/c I snore like a freight train!

I'm going to book this week end. Rob, I'd like to get in on sharing the room...I'm a bit on the fence aboot the whole Freight train thing thogh...WOOO WOOOO. Don't count me in yet, as I am trying to recruit Cintron and a few others from MA. If there is enough people we might just get another room I will let you know soon though.
